Alexis DeSean Taylor, Sr. was born on August 15, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Albert S. Taylor and Sheila R. (Taylor) Hanson. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Tomma C. Taylor, Marvin Day, Sr., Doc and Dorothy Helm; aunts, Carla Thomas, Bonnie Whitehead and Debora Henderson; uncle, James R. Helm; godsister, Lia Watson.
Alexis attended Western Hills and Life Skills High Schools and also completed some college courses in Ohio. He was employed by South-western Ohio Water Company where he was dearly loved by Mr. Ted (as he called him).
Alexis confessed Christ at an early age, under the teachings of Rev. Willie Brown at New Mis-sionary Baptist Church.
Alexis and Missy Trotter met in October 2003 and were engaged in 2013. They had one child together, Alexis Taylor, Jr.
Alexis leaves to cherish his wonderful mem-ory: his fiancé, Missy Trotter; two children, Javontae Huff and Alexis Taylor, Jr.; mother, Sheila Hanson; father, Albert S. Taylor; step-father, Dennis Hanson; sisters, Sheena Williams, Damica (David) Booker, Whitney Shepherd, Tanasha (Maurice) Farrier and Olivia Hanson; brother, Damico (Megan) Taylor; grandparents, Beverly (Maurice) Helm-Renfro and Beryl Han-son; aunts, Beverly Taylor and Lisa (John) Sloan;
uncles, Derek Taylor, Marvin (Dana) Day, Jr. and Sam Thomas; godmother, Diana Powell; godsisters, Nia Ervin, Christine Ervin and Renee Ervin; sister and brother-in-laws, Shawna Asbury, JaJuan Brooks and Matthew Brooks; and a host of other family and friends.

My husband and I was down working on his car at auto zone right and this lady was walking around selling these little heart shaped candles for a charity for Valentines Day. Well of course he bought one and when the lady came up to my husband of course the Grinch he is xoxo...said no...
